"X-tradition" is not traditionally a fixed performance in principle, is a series of improvised performances, performed "Inzhest Theatre" in any "neteatralnyh" places-Street, urban or landscape, factory shop, swimming pool, water tower, barn door, roof or wall at home-everything can become a catalyst for a special birthday-spatial drama arising from mergers-confrontation of the body and space. Direction, known worldwide as the SITE SPECIFIC PERFORMANCE.
The Physical Theater "Inzhest" - the oldest and, unfortunately, the only one in Belarus an independent art project, more than 30 years working steadily towards a modern pantomime, physical theatre, as well as - for the first time in Belarus! - in the direction of street theater, site specific performance, Butoh dance. Created in Minsk in 1980, by students of the Institute of Culture under the direction of Vyacheslav Inozemtsev, until 2001 - Studio Theatre pantomime "Zhest”(The Gesture).
Theatre participated in many festivals and international projects in Belarus, Russia and Europe.

"X-Tradition" 2001-2002, “PlaStforma” 2013, 2014, 2015).

The performance may be involved two dozen actors and musicians, and can-one person, can take a month, but can-h, each version of "x-tradition" may be similar or completely not similar to the previous one.
Common to all "x-traditions" is the use of "X-traditional techniques and aesthetics - physical improvisation, Butoh dance grotesque carnival.
The experience of such work in the theatre "InŽest" (a first "gesture") had accumulated in various joint projects-performances with theater "Mummers" (Russia), «Die Raben (Germany), Warner & Consorten "(Netherlands)," Ten Pen Chii art labor "(Japan-Germany), Globe Jinen" (Japan), Su-En Butoh company» (Sweden) and others, as well as at many festivals in Belarus, Russia, Germany, Poland, Latvia, Romania, Slovakia, etc.
Some improvised "x-tradition" become full-fledged fixed performances-"Tree" (2000), "after" (2006), "repair" (2013)
